Will this unit work with the JBD-LCD02-RS485? I keep getting a ‘Connection Error’ message on the screen. This connects using the RS485 connector on the left side of the circuit board.
Not tried yet but quickly book less than 10 france, well designed, flexible 4awg wiring and well welded no risk, must go well for my bike 72v
All arrived safely but absolutely no wiring instructions. Took some time and googling to find out how to wire it. I have 8 cells. Basically the black lead from the wider socket goes to most negative, then attach the rest of the leads one by one to each positive of your cells starting with the positive of the cell which is your most negative. Attach the leads in order until you run out of cells: the last one will be attached to your most positive. Then attach the red lead from the smaller socket also to your most positive. Any unused leads (because you have fewer than 24 cells) should be tidied away making sure they do not short each other. Then plug in the sockets to the main unit. Then attach B- (the thick blue cable) also to your most negative. It will click loudly several times and beep. If you do not connect that final red lead to your most positive it will not work. Bluetooth works fine with the app.
